I started freelancing in 2007 at TV Squad, a blog in the AOL TV network (now Huff Post TV). I was quickly promoted to West Coast Editor. I did interviews, set visits, episode reviews, and got to cover cool stuff like the Paley Festival.
Try as I might, I can’t find any links to my work from ten years ago. But if you search “Kristin Sample TV Squad” you will find geek sites that mention me and my whining about television. “I love television. I need to watch more TV.” –Kristin Sample
Since then, I’ve expanded my work to include topics like health, parenting, literacy education, and social justice. I’ve been published in the New York Times, the Washington Post (with syndication in The Denver Post), Read Write Think, and Parents.
